Virtual Health Utilization Management Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A health service company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Health Utilization Management Senior Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing advanced trend analytics to answer “what happened?”
• Conducting root cause statistical analyses to answer “why did this happen?”
• Developing predictive models to answer “what will happen next?” and “who is it likely to happen to?”

Required Skills:

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology
• 2-5 years of related data science work experience in healthcare
• 3 years’ healthcare experience solving business problems through the application of analytic approaches
• Experience conducting program evaluation/outcomes research methods, predictive modeling and data mining
• Experience with statistical software programming in R and/or Python and SQL
• Statistics experience in a corporate work environment
