Job Summary

A university medical center is in need of a Virtual Healthcare Referral Management Lead Access Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Provide leadership and support immediate needs for the Referral Management Coordinators
  • Validate details within patient level encounters as it relates to referrals and authorizations
  • Coordinate and triage to expedite timely patient needs

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • 4 years experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Able to handle patient or provider calls and contribute positively to the call center working environment
  • Able to coordinate and schedule patient appointments, surgeries and other office visits
