Job Summary

A university is in need of a Virtual History Faculty Member.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Teaching assigned courses within the qualified discipline
  • Completing projects as directed by the Lead Faculty member and Program Director
  • Providing welcome videos and welcome letters for each course assigned

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree minimum required in a History related field with at least 18 credit hours required in the corresponding subject area
  • Experience in university-level teaching
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
