Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Virtual Hospital Inpatient Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Being responsible for accurate coding of all inpatient services, procedures, diagnoses and conditions
• Working from the appropriate documentation in the medical record
• Working with medical coding classification systems

Required Skills:

• Minimum of at least 3 years recent experience as an acute hospital coder
• Work history must include coding for both Inpatient and OPS
• Must have experience as an acute hospital coder with a level 1 trauma facility
• Must hold an active AHIMA certification - CCS, RHIT, and/or RHIA accepted
