Job Summary
A travel staffing company is filling a position for a Virtual Hotel Distribution Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in negotiation of net-based and commission-based contracts
- Developing and maintaining relationships with preferred partners
- Managing the effectiveness of the Preferred Product Program
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Proven ability to confidently act as a company ambassador, influencing both preferred hotel stakeholders as well as travel agents
- 10+ years of travel industry experience with a deep knowledge of hotel products on an international scale, that serve leisure (primarily luxury product) and corporate clientele
- 5+ years of sales experience in a large travel agency or travel consortium
- Established relationships with senior (VP and above) hotel representatives across all major brands
