Job Summary

An online college is in need of a Virtual Human Geography Course Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Teaching human geography
• Collecting, analyzing, and using quantitative information to enhance the student experience
• Solid teaching experience in a higher-education setting

Required Skills:

• A PhD in Geography is required for this position
• Background must primarily be focused in human geography with specialization in political, economic, cultural, and social geography of any world region
• Provide additional resources to students based on content expertise while maintaining the students' responsibility for task competency
• Is a team player and collaborates well with others to achieve a common goal
• Strong verbal communication skills with ability to present information clearly, concisely, and accurately; friendly, persuasive speaking style
• Must be technologically competent: experience using Outlook email and calendar, online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and MS Office is required
