Job Summary
A university has an open position for a Virtual Information Technology Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Teaching assigned courses within the qualified discipline including curriculum maintenance, innovation of content, curriculum assessment, and documentation
- Completing projects as directed by the Lead Faculty member and Academic Program Directors
- Serving as course content expert and reviews individual courses for rigor and currency
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
