Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Virtual Inpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing medical record documentation
- Correctly abstracting required data per facility specifications
- Maintaining competency and accuracy while utilizing tools of the trade
Qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of acute coding experience required
- Inpatient experience highly preferred
- Vocational/Technical Degree in HIM/Coding required at minimum
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, CCA or CPC
