Virtual Instructor

Job Summary

Dedicated and dynamic, the part-time Virtual Instructor will facilitate engaging online learning experiences in biocollections technical training, utilizing multimedia tools and technologies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate synchronous and asynchronous virtual instruction to create an interactive learning environment
• Utilize various multimedia tools and technologies to enhance the online learning experience
• Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely feedback and support to meet individual learning needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of blood banking or clinical medical technician experience with post-secondary training in medical screening and phlebotomy
• Experience with virtual or online learning environments and a strong command of virtual classroom technologies
• Moderate proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners and create inclusive learning experiences
• Strong organizational skills and a continuous learner mindset, open to new teaching methodologies and technologies
