Job Summary
An institute for higher education needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual IT Security Program Mentor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being the primary source of information about academic program operation
- Counseling their assigned students in understanding expectations and overcoming obstacles to ensure success
- Providing highly engaged, student centered support to a caseload of undergraduate or graduate students
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel for training, Academic Meetings and/ or Commencements
- Master's degree in an IT related field required
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of industry experience in Information Technology
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor; help at-risk and struggling students overcome life's challenges
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment; heavy phone work
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service (AKA Student Obsession ) to our students
