Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Java Enterprise Server Developer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Helping to implement the API's that drive the single page web application
  • Developing the front end of the platform

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Expert knowledge of Java server related technologies including JPA, JTA, CDI and JAX-RS
  • 6 years of total applications development experience with 5 years of Java Enterprise development
  • Ability to translate Java server related technologies into domain-specific REST API's
  • Strong knowledge of web related technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
  • Willingness and ability to implement using a Test Driven Development approach
