Job Summary

A computer hardware and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Java Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the design and architecture of software/storage environments
  • Preparing written software/storage specifications from architectural diagrams and documents
  • Creating and reviewing design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Solid knowledge of JAVA programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, and device drivers
  • Solid knowledge of databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration
  • Solid knowledge of embedded software/firmware and tools and utilities
  • Ability to code/debug more complex programs using either written or verbal design specifications
  • Ability to achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems
