Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Virtual Java Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Write code following TDD practices
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Participate in architectural reviews

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-7 years experience in Java EE development, including at least one Java framework
  • 3+ years experience building, debugging and maintaining enterprise SaaS applications
  • Experience with containers
  • Strong knowledge of SQL- writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures
  • Experience with SOA and web services- REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
