Job Summary

A private defense contractor has an open position for a Virtual Junior Technical Writer Editor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing, drafting, writing, and editing reports, briefings, proposals, and other documents
• Creating and maintaining project templates
• Preparing and maintaining documentation and procedures for systems, programming and operations

Required Skills:

• AA or 2 year technical school in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline, or 4 years of relevant experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills and understanding of how to interact with senior GS levels within the federal government
• Excellent attention to detail and developing quality deliverables
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a high degree of organization in order to support multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to work independently and/or with other administrative and support staff
• Possesses strong organizational skills
