Job Summary

Law firm specializing in Immigration cases wants to begin publishing a monthly bi-lingual newsletter (English & Spanish). The goal is to reach clients, community and referral partners with immigration news, with an emphasis on the positive.

The job will entail taking the lead on the following, working with the principal as appropriate:
-- organizing the ongoing newsletter project--provide a breakdown of the project and pricing delineating the planning phase and ongoing work
-- developing an editorial calendar, eliciting the involvement of the principal
-- writing the newsletter content
-- designing and creating the newsletter
-- managing the set up and ongoing publication, -- managing email lists

Client has a basic MailChimp subscription but will need help setting the newsletter up in MailChimp, launching and managing it.

The client is not set on Mailchimp if there is a preferable system for legal newsletters.

Ideal Candidate:
-- A self-starter who is trustworthy and will take initiative
-- Must be bi-lingual - English and Spanish
-- Familiar with immigration issues and law
-- Skilled in newsletter creation and optimization
-- The client is not detailed oriented, can be impatient and wants to focus on practicing immigration law
-- Expect more hours initially to organize and set up the project, then hours will taper off when moving into monthly execution mode.
