Job Summary

A health insurance company is seeking a Virtual Lead Quality Assurance Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Research coding errors identified in Compliance audits
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to coding team
  • Perform quality control of CPT and ICD coding

Qualifications Include:

  • Strong understanding of Ameripath LIS systems
  • 5 years medical coding experience in Anatomic Pathology
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Oncology, Cytology, Dermatology, Molecular, Esoteric and HemOnc coding
