Job Summary
A leading online provider of legal know-how needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Legal Editor in Philadelphia.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Work on jurisdictional specific resources for our Real Estate Service
- Write, edit, and update jurisdiction specific real estate resources to be published on-line for the Real Estate Service and Practical Law Services, including practice guidance notes, checklists, standard documents and forms, and other state-specific legal content
- Establish and maintain relationships with external law firm contributors providing real estate resources
Position Requirements Include:
- J.D. required
- At least six (6) years experience (8 or more years preferred) working as a real estate lawyer in a law firm or as in-house counsel with in-depth transactional work experience in both commercial and residential matters
- Enthusiasm and ambition, with a desire to improve the efficiency of legal services
- A good understanding of the needs and priorities of in-house counsel and the legal market
- Real estate finance, including permanent loans and construction loans, enforcement of lender remedies and foreclosures
