Job Summary

An internet company is in need of a Virtual Linux Generalist Site Reliability Engineer in the Denver Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Acting as a subject matter expert around our Linux infrastructure and automation
• Helping us scale traffic from 6,000 hits/sec to twice that next year
• Maintaining the services and infrastructure platform

Qualifications Include:

• Work primarily from home, only going into the data center a few times per month
• Basic understanding of networking
• In-depth experience in Linux
• Experience working hands-on with computer hardware
• Experience with a configuration management systems or Infrastructure as Code
• A track record of taking on challenges and delivering thorough, stable, and maintainable systems
