Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Virtual Math Instructor with Wednesday and Friday evening availability to teach engaging math classes to high-achieving elementary, middle, and high school students in a remote environment focused on fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach enthusiastic students in online classrooms, utilizing a curriculum that emphasizes participation and skill development
• Manage small classes of motivated learners, encouraging student-led instruction and discussions
• Create a supportive virtual classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; master's degree or higher preferred
• Strong academic background in mathematics
• Experience teaching or tutoring K-12 students, particularly advanced learners
• Familiarity with Zoom or similar video conferencing software
• Comfortable managing a virtual classroom setting
