Job Summary
Seeking dedicated individuals, the part-time Virtual Math Tutor K-8 will provide online math instruction to students in grades K-8, utilizing provided lesson content, while working remotely and maintaining flexible scheduling primarily between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre-designed math lessons and provide targeted support to students
- Maintain student engagement and manage behavior in a virtual classroom setting
- Commit to attending at least 80% of claimed tutoring sessions to ensure consistent student support
Required qualifications
- Experience in classroom teaching, tutoring, or online instruction with a college degree preferred
- Ability to build rapport and create a motivating learning environment for students
- Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable high-speed internet connection
- Reside and tutor from one of the specified states within the USA
