A staffing agency is seeking a Virtual Medical Biller in Utica.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures
- Checking eligibility and benefit verification
- Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma required
- 5 to 7 years of experience required
- Must have hospital technical claim billing experience
- Must have detailed knowledge of Medicare billing requirements
- Must be proficient in using DDE
- Use of computer systems, software, and 10 key calculator
