Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Virtual Medical Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing physician reports
• Providing feedback to physicians regarding coding and documentation
• Reviewing Medical Records to identify diagnoses/procedures

Required Skills:

• CCS-P, CCS, or CPC certification required from AHIMA or AAPC
• Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM
• Extensive knowledge of coding and processing of Government claims
• Minimum of 3 years relevant coding experience
• Extensive E/M coding experience, and/or surgical coding experience
