Virtual Medical Control Physician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Medical Control Physician (Per Diem/Remote/Pacific or Mountain Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered acute care and medical decision-making for complex medical needs
• Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record and communicate follow-up needs to the care team
• Collaborate with mobile healthcare clinicians and participate in operational meetings to enhance care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
• Three years of experience as an attending physician in acute care or inpatient medicine
• Experience with medically and socially complex patients and in virtual care delivery
• Active Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Current licensure or ability to obtain active licensure in operational states required
