Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Medical Information Coder Abstractor III in Greenville.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Auditing and reconciling ICD codes
• Reviewing the entire medical record
• Ensuring accuracy of final coding and abstracting of statistical and reimbursement data

Qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Experience 3 years
• A minimum of one year inpatient coding and DRG assignment and one year outpatient coding
• Certifications: CCS - CERT CODING SPECIALIST - C017
• RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CPC-H Experience
• Demonstrates working knowledge of medical terminology and coding
