Virtual Medical Scribe

Job Summary

To support healthcare providers in a fully remote capacity, the part-time or full-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties, ensuring efficient patient flow and satisfaction while working primarily on weekdays and weekends in Pacific and Mountain Standard Time.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Capturing and transcribing medical record documentation during patient visits using electronic medical record applications
• Collaborating with healthcare staff to monitor lab results and ensure accurate documentation in patient records

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Ability to understand HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Residency in an approved state for virtual work with ProScribe
