Virtual Medical Scribe

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Medical Scribe for a May/June start date.

Key Responsibilities

• Scribe in real-time while accompanying the physician virtually, documenting patient information into the EMR
• Input orders as directed by the provider, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications
• Handle patient information with compliance to HIPAA regulations and communicate provider's schedule changes to the client services team

Required Qualifications

• Consistent availability
• Typing test score of 60+ WPM
• Laptop or desktop with a webcam and at least 8GB RAM
• Reliable internet connection of at least 100 Mbps
• Quiet and HIPAA compliant workspace
