Virtual Medical Scribe

Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties to enhance provider efficiency and improve patient flow, with availability required for 2-3 shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Entering the patient room virtually to capture and transcribe medical record documentation during patient visits
• Updating all components of the patient's medical record as directed by the physician, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Ability to understand and maintain HIPAA regulations
• Residency in an approved state for virtual work
