Virtual Medical Scribe

Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties to enhance provider efficiency and patient satisfaction, requiring availability for shifts primarily on Tuesdays and weekdays from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Virtually enter the patient room with the physician to capture and transcribe medical record documentation
• Update all components of the patient's medical record as directed by the physician

Required qualifications

• 3 - 6 months of previous Medical Scribe experience
• Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical record applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Residency in an approved state for virtual work
