Virtual Medical Scribe

Job Summary

To enhance provider efficiency and patient satisfaction, the full-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely from approved states, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST and EST.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
• Entering patient room data with the physician during visits to transcribe medical records using electronic medical record applications
• Updating patient medical records with clinical information as directed by the physician and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM
• Ability to work a minimum of 16-24 hours per week for part-time or 32+ hours per week for full-time
• Residency in an approved state for virtual work with ProScribe
