Virtual Medical Scribe
Job Summary
To support a growing family medicine practice, the part-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, enhancing provider efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
- Capturing and transcribing medical record documentation during patient visits using electronic medical record applications
- Updating patient medical records at the direction of the physician, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and facility policies
Required qualifications
- 3 - 6 months of previous Medical Scribe experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Residency in an approved state for virtual work with ProScribe
