Virtual Medical Scribe
Job Summary
To enhance provider efficiency and patient satisfaction, the full-time Virtual Medical Scribe will perform medical record documentation and clerical duties remotely, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing and assembling medical record documentation to support healthcare providers
- Transcribing medical records during patient visits by virtually entering the patient room with the physician
- Updating patient records with clinical information as directed by the physician and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- 3 - 6 months of previous Medical Scribe experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM
- Ability to work in approved states and complete a background check and drug screen
- Must possess a personal computer and access to high-speed internet
