Job Summary

A medical scribe company is seeking a Virtual Medical Scribe.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Accompanying physician and patients’ examinations virtually and document patient information into the EMR during the patient encounter (history, chief complaint, review of systems, physical exam)
• Successfully operating the EMR in real-time through audio to document any procedures performed by the physician, as well as patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
• Providing in-depth knowledge of HPI documentation, EMR systems, medical terminology, disease processes, procedures, medications, medical decision making, and more

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Passion and long-term interest in the medical field with a dedication to succeed.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently and work as part of a team.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to details
