Job Summary
A therapy staffing company is in need of a Virtual Mississippi Certified School Special Education Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing virtual instruction to students with special needs based on their Individualized Education Programs
- Assessing student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Utilizing technology tools and platforms for instruction, communication, and student engagement
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Mississippi teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special needs, particularly at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in Mississippi
- Proficient in using technology for remote instruction, including video conferencing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
