Job Summary

A therapy staffing company is in need of a Virtual Mississippi Certified School Special Education Teacher.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing virtual instruction to students with special needs based on their Individualized Education Programs
• Assessing student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Utilizing technology tools and platforms for instruction, communication, and student engagement

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Mississippi teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with special needs, particularly at the middle school level
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in Mississippi
• Proficient in using technology for remote instruction, including video conferencing platforms
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students and create a positive and inclusive learning environment
