We are hiring now and have an immediate need for a per diem Multi-Specialty Medical Coder that has experience in perinatology, minimum 2 years experience required.



Providing high quality E/M, procedure and surgery coding
Professional Fee Coding 2-3 years minimum experience
This is a 10-15 hour per week position.
Must be able to code the following types of services (both E/M and surgical):
o ED, IP, OP E/M Coding (POS 21, 22, 23)
o Maternal Care and Deliveries
Routine Obstetric Care
Vaginal and Cesarean Deliveries
Hysterectomies
o Antepartum Care
o Obstetrical Ultrasounds and Tests
Antepartum and Fetal Invasive Services
OB Ultrasounds
Fetal Tests

CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA
CEMC preferred, but not required
Must have at least 2 years of active E/M coding experience that includes coding POS 11, 21, 22
Must be an expert in perinatology coding with at least 2 years experience
Must have least 2 years of active surgery coding experience
Coders must maintain a 95% accuracy rate.
Have proof of passing an ICD-10 Proficiency or Readiness Assessment through the AAPC or AHIMA
Must pass Aviacode's coding test
Must have a Professional Windows Based Operating System (MAC is not compatible).
Must have DUAL monitors.
