An information technology staffing company is filling a position for a Virtual Network Engineer in Eagan.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Interfacing with teams, vendors, clients and others to implement and support networking products and services
- Installing and supporting Data Center and Enterprise routing and switching infrastructure
- Contributing to networking future infrastructure architecture and support strategy
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Cisco certification or equivalent experience
- 5+ years extensive technical experience in a variety of Networking areas
- Experience with IT infrastructure technologies (network, security perimeter technologies) in a converged voice/data network environment
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work equally well in team or independent situations
