Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Virtual Nurse Medical Management in the Central Region.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting pre-certification, continued stay review, care coordination and discharge planning
• Ensuring member access to medically necessary quality healthcare in a cost effective setting according to member contract
• Collaborating with providers to assess members' needs for early identification of and proactive discharge planning

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Current active unrestricted RN license to practice as a health professional within the scope of practice in applicable state(s) or territory of the United States
• Minimum of 3 plus years acute care clinical experience
• Previous Utilization Management experience
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication, problem-solving, facilitation and analytical skills.
• Requires the ability to maintain Eastern Standard/Daylight work hours, regardless of the time zone in which you reside
• A high speed internet connection
