Job Summary
An online education provider is in need of a Virtual Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics and Adolescent Management Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Provide timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email
- Adding your professional expertise to instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives
- Utilize classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and Microsoft Office software
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must hold either an active unencumbered or unrestricted Arizona or compact state RN license AND an active Arizona Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing
- Must have a minimum of 6 applicable credits and a minimum of 5 years in a clinical nursing practice setting with a minimum of 3 years as a Nurse Practitioner for Master's
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state they are residing and an active National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Acceptable professional position is a Nurse Practitioner with pediatric or adolescent practice experience
- Current experience is considered professional experience within the past 5 years
