Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Virtual Open Source Principal Consultant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Troubleshooting of operational problems, including performance
  • Writing and presenting database recommendations to customers
  • Restoring and recovering corrupted databases

Qualifications Include:

  • Frequent, short notice, travel on a regular basis up to 50%
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology other related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Understanding of current IT service standards such as ITIL
  • Experience with one or more of the Public cloud services: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience with operational automation tool sets like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Github, containers and others
