A genetic information company has a current position open for a Virtual Ophthalmology Genetic Counselor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing genetic counseling to patients related to their test results
- Ensuring an optimal provision of patient and client care
- Assisting with development of the Genetic Counseling Services program
Qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an ABGC accredited training program
- Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
- Eligible to obtain and maintain genetic counselor licensure in any state requiring licensure
- Experienced in ocular genetic counseling
- Able to manage your time and function independently to coordinate patient care
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment with evolving needs and progressive workflows
