A healthcare system is filling a position for a Virtual Outpatient Coder III in Springfield.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Abstracting of outpatient records
• Reviewing and analyzing documentation present in the medical record for outpatient cases
• Acting as a mentor to less experienced coders

Qualifications Include:

• 5 years coding experience with a coding certification
• Completion of Coding Course
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• OR RHIT/RHIA OR Completion of the HIM Coding Training Program with a coding certification
• Score at least 90% on CoxHealth internal coding exam
