Job Summary
An IT business services company needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Outpatient Surgery Medical Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing medical records
- Assigning pertinent diagnosis codes
- Abstracting appropriate information
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P credential from AHIMA; CPC, COC or CIC from AAPC
- 1+ years recent coding experience in U.S. acute care hospital Outpatient Surgery coding
- Demonstrated proficiency assigning CPT, ICD-10-CM and PCS
- Top coding skills
- Ability to work from home using high-speed Cable, DSL, or Satellite internet
