Job Summary

Virtual Patient Support Representative (PSR)

The Position: Millennia's virtual representatives receive inbound calls and place outbound calls with the primary purpose of helping patients understand their medical bills, their payment options and their responsibilities. Representatives, as a product of a great patient experience, also accept payments and help patients find ways to pay their medical expenses. This is completed in a manner that is respectful of the patient's privacy rights and confidentiality of personal health and financial information.

The Training: Candidates must successfully complete a 2-week paid training class and achieve incremental performance goals. Perfect attendance is required during training. Experience setting appointments is helpful, but not required. In addition, our culture is ideal for team players who are customer focused, self-motivated, and achievement driven.

The Company: Millennia is a patient engagement company created to help medical providers manage their patient billing from patient education to accounts receivable. The overall goal is to improve the patient healthcare financial experience.

Qualified candidates are expected to:
Able to receive and place phone calls in a high call volume virtual environment

Ability to patiently and accurately communicate with patients by phone

Ability to educate patients about responsibility for medical services provided

Ability to analyze and explain information in writing and verbally

Ability to use a computer and phone systems and software

Ability to understand and pronounce basic medical terms

Ability to type 40+ WPM

Requirements for Work From Home Employment:

You MUST reside within 30 miles of major Airport hub.
Reliable internet connection with ability to hardwire connect into your modem/router (ethernet from modem to PC) -Wi-Fi, Satellite Internet NOT allowed.
Internet connection cannot be a cellular hot spot , or any other service which runs over a cellular network.
Must have either a cable modem or DSL.
Recommended available upload speed of 8-10 Mbps (Megabits per second).
Space to accommodate dual monitors up to 24 in size, depending on hardware availability.
Must have quiet environment to work from; free from children/pets during working hours.

The Important Details:

Starting pay is $9/hr. base pay (for earlier shift then increase to $10/hr. after 12 months) **see details below


Commission: Maximum earnings of up to $20/hour, based on statistical performance

Daily and Weekly incentives for top performers

2 weeks of Paid Time Off per year

Education:
High School Diploma

*Hiring for the hours of 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch); 9am - 5:30pm (1/2 hour lunch); OR 11am - 8pm (1 hour lunch); OR 11:30am - 8pm (1/2 hour lunch)

*There is a $1.00 pay deferential for the later shift, start pay at $10/hr.

Experience:
Relevant: 1 year (Preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
