Job Summary
Working remotely on a monthly rotating shift schedule, the Virtual Patient Support Specialist will manage non-clinical inquiries, triage adverse events, and document data in the CRM while providing exemplary customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Complete follow-up for missing or updated information from stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation and safety reporting
- Answer incoming and make outgoing calls in a professional manner, adhering to client guidelines and business rules
- Maintain a working knowledge of program guidelines and troubleshoot IT or technical inquiries as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred or 1+ year of healthcare call center experience
- 1+ years of recent experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and case management experience
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute and efficient computer/data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload based on program needs
