Virtual Pharmacist

Job Summary

A leading retail pharmacy is seeking a Virtual Pharmacist.

Must be able to:

• Coordinate and implement generic, therapeutic, and compliance programs in both retail and mail
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws
• Train and ensure on-going development of technicians and coordinators

Qualifications for this position include:

• Required registration/licensure as an RpH as granted by that applicable state licensing agency
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and at least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment
• Willing to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings and/or weekends
• Experience motivating team members to research and resolve issues
• Knowledge of insurance plans
• Experience working with confidential information
