Virtual Pharmacy Director

Job Summary

A consulting company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Pharmacy Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Conduct practical assessments of pharmacy and medication management programs
• Utilize accepted leading practices, pharmaceutical care standards, and benchmark comparisons
• Develop implementation work plans and provide hands-on implementation support

Position Requirements Include:

• Travel is estimated at 50% nationwide
• Must live within the continental US within close proximity to a commercial airport
• Licensed pharmacist with graduate degree at the Masters or Doctorate level in Pharmacy, Business or Hospital Administration
• ASHP accredited pharmacy residency training or equivalent experience 10 years of progressively responsible pharmacy management experience, with at least 5 years in a medium to large multi-facility health care system
• Demonstrated record of achievement in health system pharmacy leading practices
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
