Job Summary

A technology consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual PHP HTML and CSS Software Engineer in Nashville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Writing code according to specifications of technical designs and development tasks
  • Providing hands-on development, testing, debugging and on-going maintenance of new and existing code (OO-PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, JSON)
  • Developing working knowledge of company's products and services in order to better understand internal client needs

Qualifications Include:

  • Excellent programming, testing and debugging skills
  • Experience with PHP 5+ (PHP 7 is a plus)
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Experience with MVC frameworks like Laravel
  • Must be prepared to learn new business processes or application nuances very quickly
