Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Virtual Platform Services Mainframe Systems Programmer Consultant.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Complete status reports, implementations, troubleshooting and maintain project plans
  • Configure, install, maintain and support SAS, MXG, CA-MICS, MFX (SYNCSORT) and related systems
  • Accurately document duties and procedures

Required Skills:

  • Ability to effectively work with vendors, internal departments and management
  • Solid knowledge of z/OS operating systems, infrastructure software, computer hardware and peripherals
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and completely
  • Solid understanding & experience with System Modification Program/Extended (SMPE) installation
