Job Summary
A professional staffing firm focused on the technology, clinical research, healthcare, finance, and accounting sectors needs applicants for an opening for a Virtual Principal Integrated Circuit Design Engineer in Dallas.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing custom high-speed GHz digital blocks (in CMOS, CML, and ECL), Data converters, memory designs (DDR, DRAM) for various military applications
- Developing, simulating, verifying, and testing RTL and standard-cell based digital control and signal processing designs
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific field
- Experience designing chips that have to take radiation into account
- Experience designing chips that have to take radiation into account
- Exposure to CAD tools (or similar to): Synopsys, Cadence, Analog artist, and Assura; Agilent ADS, SPICE, Modalism, Dynamic Link; MATLAB, etc
- Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft Windows environment
- Senior Design Engineer with chip design experience with Space travel, rockets or satellites
