Job Summary
A consulting group is filling a position for a Virtual Process Review and Improvement Application Developer in Chantilly.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level software application development skills for building custom web and mobile applications
- Develop custom software applications
- Ensure all company products and services are developed in accordance with company guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a team member and subject matter expert in an Agile/Scrum software development
- Experience developing custom software applications using current and emerging Web-standard programming
- Experience integrating 3rd party API services into custom applications
- Experience developing in a Linux-based environment using CLI tools
- Experience using distributed version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket
- Experience using principles of Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP) and Service-Oriented-Architectures (SOA)
- Experience using principles of Continuous Development, testing, and deployment
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
