Job Summary

A healthcare nonprofit organization is seeking a Virtual Professional Fee Coder I or II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coding both inpatient and outpatient professional fee services
• Reviewing documentation to assign appropriate diagnosis codes
• Working with clinic supervisors/providers to resolve coding issues and questions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Basic coding knowledge for professional services
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and medical terminology
• At least three (3) or more years’ experience in multiple specialties (for Coder II)
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• CPC-A, CPC, or CCS-P
• High School Degree
